Update: customer and order receipt printing!

We’re excited to announce our brand new release: Customer and Order Receipt printing!

Whilst some customers may not want a receipt at the checkout, many customers still prefer to take one away when making a card transaction. That’s why we’ve introduced receipt printing to our merchants.

Following our recent partnership with Accept, this new release means that you can now directly print receipts from the Pomelo app using Bluetooth and wifi Star Printers. This time-saving feature makes the check-out experience more seamless for both our merchants and their customers.

Here’s what you can do with the new printing feature:

Configure the type of receipts you want printed

Customer Receipts; Suitable when giving your customers an itemized breakdown from payment details to time placed to tax. You can also add a QR code to the receipt for the customer to scan and pay.

Order tickets; Perfect for sending orders to a printer in the kitchen, the bar or anywhere an order ticket is required.

Automatically print new orders and receipts

To save time, you can set your printer to automatically print a new order and customer receipts. This will enable merchants to seamlessly print new sale receipts, shop receipts and new orders when they come through.

Time receipt printing to suit your set up

Choose whether you would like your receipts printed immediately when an order is placed or if you prefer to take place orders without taking payment, then print later. Both options will send a ticket or receipt through to any linked printers.

Set up automatic printing based on location

Perfect for one company that has multiple locations; set your printer to notify you when printed receipts and orders come through to a particular branch.
